Paula's Literacy Charitable Trust was formed to assist children
and adults with educational skills, such as poetry and english.
By creating a new learning concept for special needs, deaf, disabled, those children who are dyslexic, academically
disadvantaged, children and adults. In the shape of producing the Waikato scenic poetry dvd project.
400 scenic poetry dvds of the Waikato, enhanced by 44 original poems in english and maori, narrated in english and Maori, set to instrumental backing music.
These DVD's can also be used to promote Tourism for the Waikato, as each scene of the Waikato is unique
and the Drury Lane Dance Studio have complimented the project by adding their dancers as interesting subjects for the theme of the poems and scenery also.
Aims and goals of the Trust: Paula's Literacy Charitable Trust, is to create new teaching resources for traditional and specialised language schools, rest homes, tourism outlets, patients in hospitals, cancer, heart patients, Ko hanga Reo, play centres kindergartens, libraries, university, mental health etc. To assist these people in over coming their learning difficulties and assist learning.
