Aims of the trust
The aims of Paula's Literacy Charitable Trust, is to improve Literacy in schools, both nationally and
around the world, so children can benefit from high quality poetry DVD's incorporating beautiful scenery from throughout the Waikato Region.
The scenic poetry DVD's, with Paula's original poems, narrated in english and maori, set to instrumental backing music, are to be used as
a teaching resource, to portray the beauty and essence of the Waikato while showcasing the beauty and essence of poetry as part of our heritage.
(1) Our aim is to produce 200 scenic poetry DVD's of the Waikato to teach and inspire the wider community from 5 to 90.
(2) Produce 200 scenic poetry calendars of the Waikato.
(3) Print 200 of original poetry books as well.
Once all the products are ready to sell, we will be employing both deaf and disabled people in the community to assist with filling the orders, packaging, posting, and other general duties.
